No, the emphasis is about having an enjoyable evening, meeting new people, learning a skill in an entertaining and relaxed environment. Many of the people at Lindy Jazz dance parties will be Lindy Hop beginners as this is the first regular Lindy event in Durham. Both dancers and non-dancers are welcome.
