Andy Fleming is a very experienced Lindy Hop teacher, choreographer, and performer (UK champion 3 times over in both Lindy Hop and Aerials). If you'd like to spice up your Lindy for either social dancing or performance, then you'll get a lot out of this workshop.

The workshop will cover a whole range of ideas from lifts, dips, throws, and simply flashy figures for showing off and having fun. It can be attempted by any level of dancer, though intermediates and above will find it most useful.

The workshop will be tailored slightly to the level of the group, so we may get to do a larger aerial with an element of danger. Which brings me to an important point - some tricks and jumps are for the social dance floor, but many aren't! And they should all be done with great consideration for your partner and those around you - safety will be a big feature in the workshop.

We invite couples and single dancers to take part, and during the workshop we'll offer you the option to rotate or stay with your chosen partner.
