Meet your teacher and choreographer, Jenny Clapp
Jenny is studying Modern Languages at Durham University - and she certainly understands the language of dance! She has been dancing since she was 16, having come across Lindy Hop in her home county of Hertfordshire by chance, but instantly falling completely in love with it! Four years on, Jenny has taught and performed with some of the best, including gigs at the Royal Albert Hall with performance group Swing Attack, and Durham's very own swing festival, DJam! Her performance background and love of precision mean that Jenny is a big fan of technique and style - and she'll stop at nothing to get it! In her capacity as teacher and choreographer for 'All That Jazz', Jenny hopes to create a dynamic performance group, whilst at the same time giving a 'masterclass' with every session that will cover not only new moves, but also give suggestions for technique, styling, and that vital ingredient for performance - pizazz! Above all, Jenny hopes to build confidence and inspire dancers to reach new levels, both on stage, and on the social dancefloor.
