Gosforth Parish Church of St Nicholas

St Nicholas Church at the corner of Church Road with the A191, Station Road. The junction is closed to vehicles. The nearest Metro station is South Gosforth (immediately opposite the church), and there are bus stops on Station Road, outside the church.

Heaton Community Centre, Trewhitt Road, Heaton, NE6 5DY

Driving from the A1 (M) Newcastle/Gateshead, Exit onto A184 (keeping right), take the ramp to Redheugh Bridge Roundabout. At Redheugh Bridge Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A184/Askew Rd. Turn left at A167/High St N. Continue to follow A167. Take the ramp on the right to A1058. Slight left at B1309. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A1058/Jesmond Rd, Continue to follow A1058. Take the exit. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto A188/Chillingham Rd. After half a mile, turn left, left & left again.

By train to Newcastle Central station, then take the Metro to Heaton. Walk along Chillingham Road until you reach Trewhitt Road. Ring 0191 276 6712 if you get lost.

Quayside Bar, 35 The Close NE1 3RN

The Quayside Bar is next to the Copthorne Hotel, near the Swing Bridge, right on the river! There are free car parking spaces nearby after 6.30 pm. Also try the Dean Street Multi-storey car park (25p per hour after 6.30 pm).

St John's Church, Grainger Street, NE1 5JG

Getting to St John's Church Hall is easy! It's just right opposite Central Station. From Central Rail Station, cross the road, with The Head of Steam and The Lounge on your left. You'll see the church on the corner. Walk round to the back where you'll find the church hall.

There are a few on street metered car parking spaces (free after 6.30 pm).
There are also three car parks within walking distance (try the Grainger Town Car park)
