Our current Team help in the following ways at Lindy Jazz events:

If you're interested in helping to create a happy dance scene -  either as a volunteer or within a  freelance paid capacity with Lindy Jazz, please contact us  or see Joo-Lee at the next class for a chat about you'd enjoy doing:

• Dancing with newcomers in class & helping them to feel welcomed
• Teaching either in the main classes or in the Beginner Review Class
• Providing choreography for performances
• Managing the Venue/Event
• Sound set up/technician
• DJ
• Setting up equipment & flyers
• Packing up /tidying up at the end of the evening
• Helping to carry stuff to the car
• Making delicious chocolate cakes

 . . . and in other events:

• Dancing at band nights or outdoor events to promote Lindy Jazz
• Leading workshops with Joo-Lee within Education, Business or Wellbeing projects

. . . and providing crucial support behind the scene, the Man with Many Hats (Andy):

• Web programming
• Database design
• Teaching
• DJ
• IT
• Problem-solving
• Lots & lots of encouragement
