We've been fortunate to have Che Vita as our dance party venue from January 2007 as the management were keen to promote the restaurant as a jazz venue on Sunday nights. Che Vita now has new management and is back to being a restaurant. They kindly offered us their new cafe, Baritza on Saturday nights from October. Unfortunately due to leasing complications, we've had to look for alternative venues.

For 10 November we're at Gilesgate Campus, Bradford Crescent, Durham DH1 1HN -  the Gym for daytime workshop and the Main Hall (with lovely wooden floor) for the evening party. On a positive note, we now have Lindy Jazz parties on Saturday nights (much better than Sundays) and you can bring your own drinks! The usual high quality music, dance cabarets and music will keep  you dancing. With 4 dance teachers from London & Edinburgh as well as teachers from Durham and dancers from Manchester - hey, let's party!

Congratulations to our Swing & Jive Competition Winners. It was not an easy job for fantastic judges. All the marks were so close! Merit was given for the quality of the partnership & connection.
