Thursday 18th January @ Shakespeare Hall
12th January 2007
Thank you for a fantastic turn out at the free Taster Lindy Hop class. There was a great atmosphere and and a real buzz as you share our excitement for the very first regular Lindy Hop class in Durham.
Thursday 18th sees the start of our 10-week course. Even if you don't sign up for the course in advance, you can turn up for any class; it's £6 on the door. If you book for 10 in advance, it's £40, saving you £20. Although you'll make better progress by coming on consecutive weeks, the advance tickets allow you lots of flexibility. For example, the 10 tickets booked in advance in January are valid until June.
Feel free to arrive early, we'll be there from about 7.30 p.m. for a cup of tea or coffee in the Canteen with Alan, the super-helpful and friendly caretaker. At 8.00 p.m., we'll recap the Charleston and Basic Swing Out before going on to Underarm Turns. At 9.00 p.m. we'll practise with each other before heading for the pub at 9.30 p.m. - the Bridge Hotel, opposite the train station.
See you soon!
