The Fenner Sisters sing at Lindy Jazz Launch Party
30th December 2006
Grace, Kay and Jill Fenner are three sisters from County Durham who grew up listening to Glenn Miller and have been singing in harmony since they were children - they can't help it! Their real love is Jazz, especially the music of the 20s, 30s and 40s, and they have performed with some fantastic bands including the Ray Chester Big Band, Dave Connolly Big Band, Tees Valley Jazzmen and Vieux Carre Jazzmen. They have sung in many wonderful theatres and festivals around Britain, including the Edinburgh Jazz Festival .We first heard the fabulous Fenner Sisters sing at the Darlington Arts Centre. They were a real hit with the crowd who came to hear them sing with the Tees Valley Jazzmen. Come and hear your favourite songs such as 'Sentimental Journey, 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy', 'In the Mood' and many more at the Lindy Jazz Launch Party!
